Filtering selection in Midas Civil. How to select element oriented in particular direction?

 Filtering selection chooses line element selectively based on elements directional orientation while applying graphical orientation.

select either any particular axis or plane.

element oriented in that particular direction or plane will get selected. example click z axis.

click select all

element in vertical orientation will get selected.
