How to assign material and section properties in Midas Civil?

 Enter the material and section properties for the structural members which are assumed to be as follows:

Material property ID 1: A36

Section ID                 1: W8 x 35 – Columns

                                 2: W16 x 67 – Beams

1. Select Properties
2. Material Properties from the main Menu.
3. Click Add

General Material ID =1

Type of design =  Steel

Steel Standard =ASTM(S).

DB = A36

Click OK

Section ID=1

Section selection field select= I section

DB = AISC

Section Name= W8x 35

Click = Apply
